February 8, 2023: Sandy Springs, GA 30328 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) and the host Riverwood Raiders (Sandy Springs, GA), saw Kell's lacrosse team top Riverwood by a margin of 19-1.
The Longhorns (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Roswell gained a win over Pope (Marietta, GA), 11-10, in a non-league battle.
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) in a 5A-6A Area 2 battle, on Monday, February 13. Riverwood will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Greyhounds come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, GA).
