The San Mateo Bearcats basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Capuchino Mustangs to 48 in the Bearcats league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bearcats now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burlingame for a contest on Friday, February 10. San Mateo will battle a Panthers team coming off a 49-46 league win over Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 16-6.

The Mustangs (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Mills (Millbrae, CA). The Vikings enter the contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Mills nudged Sequoia (Redwood City, CA), 67-55, in a league contest.
