North Carolina High School Basketball - Christ School crushes Carolina Day
February 8, 2023: Arden, NC 28704 Christ School Greenies (Arden, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC), 76-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Christ School upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Greenies host South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC) to play the Thunder in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 14-8. South Charlotte Thunder won 61-60 in their recent non-league bout against Charlotte Elite Academy (Charlotte, NC)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Asheville School (Independent) Blues (Asheville, NC) in a bout, on Thursday, February 9. Carolina Day will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Blues go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 52-21 league win over Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC).
