In Thursday's non-league outing, the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY), by a margin of 80-53.

The Polar Bears (7-17) will now prepare for their outing against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils go into the non-league outing with a 3-19 record.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they travel to Robertson County for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 8. Holmes will clash with a Black Devils squad coming off a 65-62 non-league win over St. Patrick (Maysville, KY). The Black Devils record now stands at 3-19.
