Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter Hornets (Rochester, NY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mount Morris Blue Devils (Mount Morris, NY), 67-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Perry Yellowjackets (Perry, NY) in a Section 5 Livingston 3 bout, on Saturday, February 10. Mount Morris will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record.
