Holden Rockets (Holden, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA), 70-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Holden upgrades its record to 14-15 on the season. The Rockets host Pine (Franklinton, LA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 18-14. Pine won 73-45 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Northlake Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 10-18 season record.
