Delaware High School Basketball - Middletown nips Tri-State Christian
February 8, 2024: Middletown, DE 19709 Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tri-State Christian Crusaders (Elkton, MD), 66-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Middletown upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE) to play the Jaguars in a Blue Hen Flight - A bout on Saturday, February 10. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Appoquinimink won 68-36 in their recent non-league bout against Newark (Newark, DE)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Providence Christian Academy Griffins (Elkton, MD) in a Mid-Atlantic Independent bout, on Friday, February 9. Tri-State Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 25-6 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 50-43 league loss to Varsity Opponent (, ).
