Illinois High School Basketball - Rockridge overwhelms Orion
February 8, 2024: Taylor Ridge, IL 61284 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) and the visiting Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), saw Rockridge's basketball squad wallop Orion by a tally of 69-37.
With the victory, Rockridge improves its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Breese Central (Breese, IL) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 27-2. Breese Central won 59-34 in their recent league challenge against Freeburg (Freeburg, IL)
Next up, the Chargers confront the Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL) in a Three Rivers - West challenge, on Friday, February 9. Orion will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 13-14 record after their 55-51 league loss to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL).
