Iowa High School Basketball - Perry edges South Tama County

February 8, 2024: Tama, IA 52339

The Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) basketball nudged the host South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA), 55-54 in Thursday's non-league contest.

The Bluejays now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nevada for a Heart of Iowa - Large contest on Friday, February 9. Perry will battle a Cubs team coming off a 65-63 league win over Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Cubs record now stands at 15-4.

The Trojans (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against West Delaware (Manchester, IA). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-17 record. In their last contest, West Delaware was nudged by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA), 58-38, in a league contest.
