February 8, 2024: Eunice, LA 70535 The Pitkin Tigers (Pitkin, LA) basketball crushed the host St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA), 78-46 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers (24-15) will now prepare for their test against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA). The Bulldogs go into the B District 4 test with a 11-14 record. In their last test, Elizabeth walloped Oak Hill (Hineston, LA), 74-66, in a league test.
The Fighting Blue Jays now own a 9-17 record. They play next when they travel to East Beauregard for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. St. Edmund will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 64-27 league loss to Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-14.
