New York High School Basketball - Bethlehem Central overwhelms Queensbury
February 8, 2024: Queensbury, NY 12804 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bethlehem Central Eagles (Delmar, NY) and the host Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY), saw Bethlehem Central's basketball squad wallop Queensbury by a tally of 59-34.
With the victory, Bethlehem Central improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY) to confront the Flying Dutchmen in a Section 2 Suburban challenge on Friday, February 9. The Flying Dutchmen come into the challenge with a record of 6-13. Guilderland lost 68-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (Saratoga Springs, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Queensbury will attempt to improve on its 17-2 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 47-44 league loss to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY).
