February 8, 2024: Huntersville, NC 28078 The Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions basketball team (Concord, NC), was overwhelmed 58-30 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC)
The Crusaders now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Charter for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores battle on Friday, February 9. Christ the King will confront a Eagles team coming off a 60-20 league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 15-5.
The Stallions (7-17) will now prepare for their battle against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Metrolina Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC), 59-50, in a non-league battle.
