Oklahoma High School Basketball - Coalgate nips Colbert
February 8, 2024: Coalgate, OK 74538 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Coalgate Wildcats (Coalgate, OK) and the visiting Colbert Leopards (Colbert, OK), saw Coalgate's basketball squad hold off Colbert by a count of 37-30.
With the victory, Coalgate upgrades its record to 3-18 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Antlers (Antlers, OK) to play the Bearcats in a Freelance challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-14. Antlers lost 44-41 in their recent league challenge against Atoka (Atoka, OK)
Next up, the Leopards play the Haworth Lions (Haworth, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Colbert will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 61-40 non-league loss to Antlers (Antlers, OK).
