In Thursday's non-league outing, the Covenant Christian Cougars (Conroe, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Salt and Light Homeschool Eagles (Conroe, TX), by a count of 42-40.

The Cougars (19-12) will now prepare for their outing against Providence Classical (Spring, TX). The Paladins go into the TAPPS 2A District 6 outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Providence Classical was tipped by Allen Academy (Bryan, TX), 65-15, in a league outing.
