Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles (Desert Hot Springs, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mesa Grande Academy Cardinals (Calimesa, CA), 56-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Desert Hot Springs upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Colton (Colton, CA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 20-6. Colton won 63-32 in their recent non-league bout against Nogales (La Puente, CA)
