Nebraska High School Basketball - Southern Valley tops Dundy County-Stratton

February 8, 2024: Oxford, NE 68967

Southern Valley Eagles (Oxford, NE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Dundy County-Stratton Tigers (Benkelman, NE), 57-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Southern Valley upgrades its record to 23-1 on the campaign.

Next up, the Tigers play the Alliance Bulldogs (Alliance, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Dundy County-Stratton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 7-14 record after their 55-29 non-league loss to Sidney (Sidney, NE).
