February 8, 2024: Upton, MA 01568 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sutton/Douglas Sammies (Sutton, MA) and the host Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers (Upton, MA), saw Sutton/Douglas's basketball squad hold off Blackstone Valley RVT by a tally of 54-47.
With the victory, Sutton/Douglas improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Sammies travel to Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-4.
Next up, the Beavers play the Whitinsville Christian Crusaders (Whitinsville, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Blackstone Valley RVT will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
