The Napoleon Pirates basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Leslie Blackhawks to 34 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manchester for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12.

The Blackhawks (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Grass Lake (Grass Lake, MI). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Grass Lake was nudged by Michigan Center (Michigan Center, MI), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
