The Alexandria-Monroe Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Morristown Yellow Jackets to 47 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now have a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Muncie Burris for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Alexandria-Monroe will confront a Owls team coming off a 90-50 non-league loss to Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN). The Owls record now stands at 1-15.

With the loss, Morristown falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Southwestern (Shelbyville, IN) to confront the Spartans in a Mid-Hoosier game on Thursday, February 13.
