Oklahoma High School Basketball - Elgin defeats Altus
February 8, 2025: Altus, OK 73521 The Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK) basketball were winner over the host Altus Bulldogs (Altus, OK), 45-35 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Owls now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Noble for a 5A District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 11. Elgin will play a Bears team coming off a 88-43 league loss to El Reno (El Reno, OK). The Bears record now stands at 8-12.
With the loss, Altus falls to 2-19 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Midwest City (Midwest City, OK) to play the Bombers in a 5A District 2 bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Midwest City lost 73-55 in their recent league bout against Marshall (Oklahoma City, OK)
