Louisiana High School Basketball - Ascension Christian can't hold off North Iberville
February 8, 2025: Rosedale, LA 70772 North Iberville Bears (Rosedale, LA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 54-52 in a league match.
With the victory, North Iberville advances its record to 8-16 on the year. The Bears host Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA) to face the Bengals in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12. The Bengals enter the match with a record of 7-24. Belaire lost 79-20 in their recent league match against McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA)
The now own a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Episcopal for a non-league match on Monday, February 10. Ascension Christian will face a Knights squad coming off a 65-60 non-league win over Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA). The Knights record now stands at 15-21.
