Louisiana High School Basketball - Catholic - N.I. thwarts Northwest
February 8, 2025: Opelousas, LA 70570 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) and the host Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA), observed Catholic - N.I.'s basketball team knock off Northwest by a score of 56-47.
The Panthers (20-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Delcambre (Delcambre, LA). The Panthers come into the 2A District 7 outing with a 1-21 record.
The Raiders (17-12) will now prepare for their outing against Church Point (Church Point, LA). The Bears come into the 3A District 4 outing with a 19-8 record. In their last outing, Church Point overcame Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA), 87-21, in a league outing.
