February 8, 2025: Clayton, NM 88415 Santa Rosa Lions (Santa Rosa, NM) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM), 76-62 in a league match.
With the victory, Santa Rosa advances its record to 19-3 on the year. The Lions host Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM) to face the Rattlers in a 2A District 6 match on Thursday, February 13. The Rattlers enter the match with a record of 7-14.
The Yellowjackets now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Estancia for a 2A District 6 match on Thursday, February 13.
