Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County knocks off Estill County
February 8, 2025: Carlisle, KY 40311 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) and the visiting Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY), observed Nicholas County's basketball team overcome Estill County by a margin of 83-71.
The Bluejackets (16-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 16-9 record.
In their next game, the Engineers battle the Breathitt County Bobcats (Jackson, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Estill County will attempt to better on its 11-13 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 18-7 record after their 60-54 non-league win over Perry County Central (Hazard, KY).
