Michigan High School Basketball - Fitzgerald nips Heritage
February 8, 2025: Saginaw, MI 48603 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Fitzgerald Spartans (Warren, MI) and the host Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI), observed Fitzgerald's basketball team edge Heritage by a margin of 49-47.
The Spartans (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI). The Huskies come into the Macomb Area - Red challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Port Huron Northern edged Hamady (Flint, MI), 66-63, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Davison Cardinals (Davison, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Heritage will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 50-33 non-league win over Jackson (Jackson, MI).
