Missouri High School Basketball - Kirksville sneaks past Southern Boone
February 8, 2025: Ashland, MO 65010 The Kirksville Tigers (Kirksville, MO) basketball edged the host Southern Boone Eagles (Ashland, MO), 57-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Moberly for a North Central Missouri bout on Tuesday, February 11. Kirksville will play a Spartans team coming off a 75-57 league loss to Mexico (Mexico, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 11-10.
With the loss, Southern Boone falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Osage (Kaiser, MO) to play the Indians in a Tri-County - Southwest bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Osage won 78-59 in their recent league bout against Boonville (Boonville, MO)
