West Virginia High School Basketball - South Charleston nips Martin County
February 8, 2025: South Charleston, WV 25309 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host South Charleston Black Eagles basketball team scored a close 83-81 triumph over the Martin County Cardinals.
The Black Eagles (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders go into the Mountain State contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Huntington was tipped by Blazer (Ashland, KY), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Martin County will attempt to better on its 16-10 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 11-10 record after their 74-66 non-league win over Scott (Madison, WV).
