California High School Basketball - Rancho Cotate knocks off Sonoma Academy

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) and the host Sonoma Academy Coyotes (Santa Rosa, CA), observed Rancho Cotate's basketball team overcome Sonoma Academy by a margin of 56-43.

The Cougars (21-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ukiah (Ukiah, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-19 record. In their last challenge, Ukiah defeated Elsie Allen (Santa Rosa, CA), 62-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Coyotes battle the Willits Wolverines (Willits, CA) in a North Central II challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Sonoma Academy will attempt to better on its 15-7 season record.
