The Riverside Beavers basketball squad (Painesville, OH), was nudged 75-69 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH)

With the victory, University School advances its record to 12-7 on the year. The Preppers travel to St. Edward (Lakewood, OH) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, February 14. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 13-6.

The Beavers now own a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chardon for a Western Reserve battle on Tuesday, February 11. Riverside will meet a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 78-48 league loss to Mayfield (Mayfield, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 7-12.
