February 8, 2025: West Des Moines, IA 50266 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Valley Tigers (West Des Moines, IA) and the visiting Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA), observed Valley's basketball team knock off Sioux City East by a score of 68-51.
The Tigers (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA). The Roughriders come into the non-league challenge with a 9-5 record.
In their next game, the Black Raiders encounter the Sioux City North Stars (Sioux City, IA) in a Missouri River bout, on Tuesday, February 11. Sioux City East will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record. The Stars go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 64-34 league loss to Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA).
