February 8, 2025: Oakdale, CT 06370 William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host St. Thomas More Chancellors (Oakdale, CT), 76-71 in a non-league match.
With the victory, William Penn Charter upgrades its record to 20-4 on the year. The Quakers travel to Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA) to face the Patriots in a Inter-Academic match on Tuesday, February 11. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 7-13. Germantown Academy lost 54-41 in their recent league match against Haverford School (Haverford, PA)
The Chancellors now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle Hill for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12.
