Missouri High School Basketball - Webster Groves nips Whitney Young
February 8, 2025: Webster Groves, MO 63119 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Webster Groves Statesmen basketball team scored a close 71-68 triumph over the Whitney Young Dolphins.
The Statesmen (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Howell (St. Charles, MO). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Howell nipped Howell North (St. Charles, MO), 76-62, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Dolphins battle the Dyett Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Whitney Young will attempt to better on its 14-12 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 20-6 record after their 44-39 non-league win over Clark (Chicago, IL).
