Indiana High School Basketball - Greenwood sneaks past Greenfield-Central
February 8, 2025: Greenfield, IN 46140 The Greenwood Woodmen (Greenwood, IN) basketball edged the host Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN), 49-43 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Woodmen now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Plainfield for a bout on Friday, February 14. Greenwood will play a Quakers team coming off a 58-22 non-league loss to Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN). The Quakers record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Greenfield-Central falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Connersville (Connersville, IN) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Connersville lost 48-38 in their recent non-league bout against Columbus North (Columbus, IN)
