Ohio High School Basketball - Solon thwarts Aurora
February 8, 2025: Solon, OH 44139 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Solon Comets (Solon, OH) and the visiting Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH), observed Solon's basketball team knock off Aurora by a score of 63-49.
The Comets (5-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Magnificat (Rocky River, OH). The Blue Streaks come into the non-league challenge with a 15-5 record. In their last challenge, Magnificat prevailed over Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH), 63-51, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Greenmen encounter the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 15. Aurora will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record.
