Minnesota High School Basketball - Big Lake trounced by Cambridge-Isanti
February 8, 2025: Cambridge, MN 55008 Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN), 71-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cambridge-Isanti advances its record to 5-13 on the year. The Bluejackets travel to Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 2-21.
The Hornets now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monticello for a AAA Section 5 match on Monday, February 10. Big Lake will meet a Magic squad coming off a 69-56 league win over Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Magic record now stands at 22-0.
