Illinois High School Basketball - Fisher triumphant over Urbana University
February 8, 2025: Urbana, IL 61801 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL) and the host Urbana University Illineks (Urbana, IL), observed Fisher's basketball team overwhelm Urbana University by a score of 51-20.
The Bunnies (14-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Turks come into the Heart Of Illinois challenge with a 24-5 record. In their last challenge, Tremont was routed by Tri-Valley (Downs, IL), 59-56, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Illineks battle the Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL) in a East Central Illinois challenge, on Monday, February 10. Urbana University will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 35-23 non-league win over Lowpoint-Washburn (Washburn, IL).
