February 8, 2025: Cooperstown, ND 58425 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] Bearcats basketball team scored a good 45-34 triumph over the Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars.
The Bearcats (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Park River/Fordville-Lankin (Park River, ND). The Aggies go into the non-league contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Park River/Fordville-Lankin topped Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND), 53-36, in a league contest.
Next up, the Cougars meet the Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] (Lakota, ND) in a B District 4 battle, on Tuesday, February 11. Griggs County Central/Midkota will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The enter the battle with a 11-10 record after their 50-47 non-league loss to Park River/Fordville-Lankin (Park River, ND).
