New Mexico High School Basketball - Santa Fe Prep overwhelmed by Jemez Valley
February 8, 2025: Jemez Pueblo, NM 87024 In Saturday's non-league test, the Jemez Valley Warrior (Jemez Pueblo, NM) basketball squad trounced the visiting Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins (Santa Fe, NM), by a score of 51-15.
Next, the Warrior encounter the Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons (Santa Fe, NM) in a 2A District 2 test, on Tuesday, February 11. Jemez Valley will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 2-16 record after their 58-13 league loss to Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
The Blue Griffins (2-16) will now prepare for their test against Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM). The come into the 3A District 2 test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, Academy for Technology and The Classics was routed by Silver (Silver City, NM), 71-27, in a non-league test.
