Alaska High School Basketball - Ketchikan triumphant over West Valley
February 8, 2025: Fairbanks, AK 99709 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ketchikan Kings (Ketchikan, AK) and the host West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK), observed Ketchikan's basketball team overwhelm West Valley by a margin of 56-26.
The Kings (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK). The Crimson Bears come into the 4A Southeast challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Juneau-Douglas was trounced by Wasilla (Wasilla, AK), 46-30, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolf Pack battle the Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) in a 4A Mid Alaska challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. West Valley will attempt to better on its 1-19 season record. The Malemutes come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 40-28 league loss to North Pole (North Pole, AK).
