February 8, 2025: Mackinaw, IL 61755 Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL), 53-28 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Kewanee advances its record to 18-10 on the year. The Boilermakers host Sherrard (Sherrard, IL) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-1. Sherrard lost 44-42 in their recent non-league match against Alleman (Rock Island, IL)
The Chiefs now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgeview for a challenge on Tuesday, February 11.
