Virginia High School Basketball - Petersburg fells John Marshall
February 8, 2025: Petersburg, VA 23805 The Petersburg Crimson Wave basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting John Marshall Justices to 58 in the Crimson Wave non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Crimson Wave now have a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Hopewell for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Petersburg will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 61-44 non-league win over Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-1.
With the loss, John Marshall falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Justices host King William (King William, VA) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 14-0.
