New Jersey High School Basketball - Vineland holds off Lower Cape May
February 9, 2022: Cape May, NJ 08204 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Vineland Fighting Clan (Vineland, NJ) and the host Lower Cape May Tigers (Cape May, NJ), saw Vineland's basketball squad hold off Lower Cape May by a tally of 53-46.
With the victory, Vineland improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Fighting Clan host Millville (Millville, NJ) to confront the Thunderbolts in a Cape/Atlantic - United challenge on Friday, February 11. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Millville won 51-49 in their recent league challenge against Bridgeton (Bridgeton, NJ)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - National challenge, on Monday, February 14. Lower Cape May will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record.
