Virginia High School Basketball - Chatham overwhelms Appomattox County
February 9, 2022: Appomattox, VA 24522 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) and the host Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA), saw Chatham's basketball squad wallop Appomattox County by a tally of 56-30.
With the victory, Chatham improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Gretna (Gretna, VA) to confront the Hawks in a Dogwood challenge on Thursday, February 10. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Gretna lost 61-43 in their recent league challenge against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) in a Dogwood challenge, on Friday, February 11. Appomattox County will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 80-26 league loss to Chatham (Chatham, VA).
