Illinois High School Basketball - Benet Academy tops Montini Catholic
February 9, 2022: Lisle, IL 60532 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) and the visiting Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL), saw Benet Academy's basketball squad knock off Montini Catholic by a count of 57-48.
With the victory, Benet Academy upgrades its record to 25-3 on the campaign.
Next up, the Broncos play the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 14. Montini Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 22-8 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 9-19 record after their 43-23 league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).
