Missouri High School Basketball - Lexington can't hold off Orrick
February 9, 2022: Orrick, MO 64077 The Orrick Bearcats basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 28 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 2-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wellington-Napoleon for a non-league contest on Friday, February 11. Orrick will battle a Tigers team coming off a 78-47 non-league win over Polo (Polo, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 20-2.
The Minutemen (0-19) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond (Richmond, MO). The Spartans come into the Missouri River Valley - East contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Richmond was nudged by Holden (Holden, MO), 47-23, in a league contest.
