Oregon High School Basketball - Churchill nips Cascade Christian
February 9, 2023: Eugene, OR 97405 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR) and the visiting Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR), saw Churchill's basketball squad hold off Cascade Christian by a tally of 62-55.
With the victory, Churchill improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Lancers host Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR) to play the Eagles in a 5A Midwestern challenge on Friday, February 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Eagle Point lost 72-46 in their recent league challenge against North Eugene (Eugene, OR)
Next up, the Challengers play the St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Cascade Christian will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 72-63 league loss to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR).
