In Thursday's non-league outing, the North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK) basketball squad edged the visiting Seward Seahawks (Seward, AK), by a margin of 43-37.

The Patriots (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Mt. Edgecumbe held off Delta (Delta Junction, AK), 71-68, in a non-league outing.

The Seahawks now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Kenai Central for a 3A Peninsula outing on Friday, February 17. Seward will clash with a Kardinals squad coming off a 46-28 league loss to Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Kardinals record now stands at 9-7.
