In Thursday's non-league outing, the Norton Bluejays (Norton, KS) basketball squad edged the visiting Cambridge Trojans (Cambridge, NE), by a margin of 39-37.

The Bluejays (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Smith Center (Smith Center, KS). The Redmen go into the non-league outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Smith Center held off Superior (Superior, NE), 70-58, in a non-league outing.

The Trojans now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Alma for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10. Cambridge will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 67-39 non-league win over Northern Valley (Almena, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-3.
