Missouri High School Basketball - Carthage overwhelmed by Nixa
February 9, 2023: Carthage, MO 64836 The Nixa Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Carthage Tigers to 37 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickman for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Nixa will battle a Kewpies team coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Westminster Christian (St. Louis, MO). The Kewpies record now stands at 17-4.
The Tigers (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Branson (Branson, MO). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Branson was routed by Carl Junction (Carl Junction, MO), 71-56, in a league contest.
