Virginia High School Basketball - Summit Christian Academy overwhelmed by Hampton Roads Academy
February 9, 2023: Yorktown, VA 23693 The Summit Christian Academy Eagles basketball team (Yorktown, VA), was overwhelmed 48-12 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Hampton Roads Academy Navigators (Newport News, VA)
The Navigators now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walsingham Academy for a TCIS battle on Friday, February 10. Hampton Roads Academy will battle a Trojans team coming off a 56-51 non-league win over St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 12-7.
The Eagles (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against TEACH (Virginia Beach, VA). The come into the Freelance battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, TEACH trounced Summit Christian Academy (Yorktown, VA), 22-17, in a non-league battle.
